Trevor Zimmer

Trevor Zimmer joined Catapult Design as the Program Director in March 2023. He has extensive experience in design strategy, creative facilitation, and management, specializing in public health. Prior to joining Catapult Design, he directed the COVAX delivery unit responsible for supporting countries to administer COVID-19 vaccines.

Previously, he was an Associate Partner and Design Director at Dalberg Design, helping to lead the firm’s health and innovation practice. At Dalberg, his focus was on creative facilitation, design research, innovation, and storytelling, which he applied to global health, change management, and new ventures. His work spanned 20+ countries, partnering with community-based organizations, international non-profits, funders, bi- and multi-laterals, early-stage innovators, and pharmaceuticals. 

Prior to Dalberg, Trevor worked with the Clinton Foundation. During a secondment with the South African Department of Health, he worked on an HIV treatment optimization study. He also coordinated the operations and budget for a program to increase access to essential medicines for children.

Trevor has a master’s degree from The Fletcher School at Tufts University and an undergraduate degree from the University of Washington. He lives in and is a native of the San Francisco Bay Area.
