Catapult Design Receives Cooper Hewitt’s National Design Award

This prestigious award recognizes Catapult’s innovation and impact in its work as a global social impact design firm. With this, we are incredibly honored to share this award with all of the other inspiring creatives committed to building a more healthy, resilient, and just world. Thank you Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum, this year’s jury, and those who nominated us for the award!

A huge shout-out to our incredible team of passionate, resourceful, and inquisitive Catapulters (present and past): our Board members, advisors, founders, and designers around the globe. We would also like to acknowledge our brilliant partners, clients, and donors (“Catapult champions”) as this award would not be possible without your vision and belief in Catapult’s capabilities.

In her (virtual) acceptance speech, Catapult CEO Angela Hariche noted that; “Catapult Design is a small firm that just won a very very big award. It is really difficult to think of a bigger honor than this. We dedicate this award to all of the underserved populations around the world that are not getting the recognition they deserve for their expertise and capabilities. Oh but that is changing. Each day we, at Catapult Design, see it, feel it and design for it.”
