Designing Together

It’s a joy to see design come to life in new relationships, new skills, new mindsets, and new ideas made real. We have been working this past year with the Cone Health Innovation team and community partners – LOT 2540, Boys and Girls Club of Eden and NC100 to develop a custom and replicable design thinking process to support community-based design efforts. We thank them for welcoming us, learning with us and making this work happen. The work of designing with asks us to challenge our assumptions and try new approaches – but we’ve seen it’s well worth the effort. We hope our shared process will prove a helpful guide throughout their own design processes to come and in the spirit of ongoing iteration, we look forward to them building upon it with their own learnings along the way.
