Dawn Danby

Dawn Danby, an interdisciplinary designer recognized by Fast Company as one of the 100 Most Creative People in Business, brings over 12 years of expertise in sustainable design to Catapult Design. Dawn’s work has spanned from pioneering a tree-covered pedestrian bridge on the U.S.-Canada border to developing innovative closed-loop manufacturing strategies and sustainable furniture design. As Senior Sustainable Design Program Manager at Autodesk, she led the Autodesk Sustainability Workshop, offering accessible online resources to equip emerging engineers and designers with sustainable design principles.

Dawn is also the co-author of Worldchanging: A User’s Guide to the 21st Century and is a sought-after speaker at events, including TEDGlobal. She is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts and was recognized as a Rising Talent by the Women’s Forum for Economy and Society. Her work has been featured in Metropolis, Fast Company, The Atlantic, Azure, Core77, and the BBC. With an industrial design degree from the Rhode Island School of Design and an MBA in Sustainable Business from the Bainbridge Graduate Institute, Dawn’s work continues to shape sustainable practices within and beyond the design industry.
