Emnet Woubishet Teklu

Emnet is a founding and managing partner at Derz Consulting, where she brings over eight years of experience in design and innovation—five of which have been deeply rooted in human-centered design. Her work spans adolescent and youth sexual and reproductive health, maternal and child health, capacity building, and entrepreneurship.

Emnet leads with curiosity, driven by a desire to understand human behavior and the systems that shape it. She brings this mindset into every aspect of her work—from user research and workshop facilitation to prototyping and training—partnering with organizations and communities to co-create solutions that improve lives.

Her approach emphasizes collaboration and shared learning, helping teams uncover insights and build lasting capabilities in human-centered design.

Emnet holds a Bachelor of Science in Architecture and a master’s in Design Management and Innovation from Ravensbourne University London.
