Harsh Chauhan

Harsh is a queer feminist development professional with extensive experience in programming and advocacy focused on early childhood development, sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR), and youth leadership in India. As a co-founder of Alt Unfold, Harsh brings a commitment to community-focused initiatives and intersectional approaches to social change.

Prior to founding Alt Unfold, Harsh worked with The YP Foundation and the Centre for Learning Resources, leading projects in field research, content development, training, and facilitation. An advocate for the rights of youth and LGBTQIA+ individuals, Harsh has represented these communities at national and international platforms, including the WHO’s global campaign to combat ageism, the United Nations’ Human Rights Council (HRC) and Universal Periodic Review (UPR) mechanisms, and the PMNCH Partners’ Forum.
