Heather Fleming
Executive Director, Change Labs
Heather Fleming is the co-founder and Executive Director of Change Labs, where she leads efforts to foster entrepreneurship and innovation on the Navajo Nation. By collaborating with partners across the region, Heather supports initiatives to incubate, finance, and train new and aspiring Native American entrepreneurs, aiming to diversify local economies and drive innovation. Her dedication to seeding Native American social entrepreneurship stems from her upbringing in rural New Mexico and her 10 years of leadership as a co-founder of Catapult Design.
Heather’s background includes work as a design and innovation consultant in Silicon Valley, where she developed products and services for a broad spectrum of clients. She has also served as an Adjunct Lecturer at Stanford University and California College of the Arts. Recognized as a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum and a Pop!Tech Social Innovation Fellow, Heather continues to influence the fields of social impact design and community-based entrepreneurship.
