Joe Gitari

Joe is an experienced independent consultant with a distinguished career in international development. He specializes in working with nonprofit organizations on human rights and sustainable development, as well as with for-purpose groups on governance, international relations, and philanthropy.

Joe currently serves as a Senior Advisor with the International Conflict and Security (INCAS) Institute, a hub dedicated to applied insights at the intersection of sustainability, peace, and security. His expertise is informed by a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Political Economy, Africa, and International Relations from the University of Denver.

Based in Kenya, Joe brings a global perspective and a commitment to advancing meaningful solutions to complex international challenges.
