Rajiv Bhatia

Rajiv Bhatia practices internal medicine at the Veterans Administration and he is an affiliated assistant professor of medicine at the Stanford University School of Medicine. Between 1998 and 2014, he served as a Deputy Health Officer for the City of San Francisco where he pioneered work on health impact assessment (HIA), community health indicators, and open civic data. Since 1994, he has advised civil society organizations, healthcare systems, and governments on matters of public health. He would like to find a way to disrupt irrational medical prescriptions in India.
