Simran Monga

Simran is a designer for sustainability, driven by a profound passion for climate storytelling, education, and systemic change to pave the way for a regenerative and abundant future. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Visual Communication from Srishti Institute of Art, Design & Technology and an MFA in Design for Sustainability from Savannah College of Art & Design.

Simran has 9 years of experience in visual storytelling, design strategy, and entrepreneurship, with her design practice being incubated at the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad under their Creative & Cultural Businesses Programme.

Her passion for cinema and work with WRI India, Academy Award-winning Sikhya Entertainment, and Indian Women Rising have led her to publish a thesis exploring sustainable lifestyles in Hindi films, along with a first-of-its-kind toolkit for writers and directors. She hopes to leverage the power of entertainment across the globe to tell stories of hope and actionable solutions in the face of climate change, helping uplift the environment and society we inhabit.
