Unmesh Kulkarni

Unmesh is a founder of Oceanic Circles, a collective for research, design, and innovation for impact and systems change. His experience spans healthcare, consumer, enterprise, industrial technologies, etc., He has worked across India, China, and the USA. Previously he led global design teams at Honeywell and Philips. He had earlier co-founded Design Matters, a design and appropriate technology consultancy. Unmesh holds a degree in mechanical engineering and a master’s in industrial design from IDC, IIT Mumbai. Unmesh has a number of design awards to his credit including- the 2009 INDEX: Award, the Red-Dot, the Red Dot: Eco Habitat Award, the Design for Asia, the IDEA Bronze Eco Award, the Design for Asia Award, the iF Award.
